As of today, KMSU was under $2,000 towards reaching its goal for its annual Spring Pledge Drive. If you have an interest in what FFF is doing and believe in the importance of independent public radio in general, you can still pledge your support in any dollar amount by calling 507-389-5678 or 1-800-456-7810. You can also pledge online at www.kmsu.org.

On a different note, the Italian heavy-hitters, Father Murphy, are currently touring the U.S. and will be playing a show in Minneapolis on May 19th at the Triple Rock Social Club. This trio has been releasing some wonderfully confounding doomy art-rock over the past few years and are definitely worth checking out. For locals, though, you should certainly be marking off May 12th on your calenders for the KMSU Listener Appreciation Show featuring The Bombay Sweets, Prissy Clerks, and The Evening Rig. It's at The Red Sky Lounge here in Mankato and it's free, so there are no excuses. Be there!!
